September 30:RAIN DATE - TBA

MONDAY HIKERS

Monday hikes might be a good way for you to see sights that you can only get to by walking. On Mondays, hikes are considered moderate or easy by hiking manual standards, usually 6 miles or shorter, with under 1,000 feet elevation gain.

If you have any questions about the hike or meeting place, please ask the hike leader.

We plan to walk Mondays in May through September. On all hikes bring water.  We usually stop for a break, lunch or snack at the turnaround point, and each person usually carries a day pack into the field.   Wear hiking boots or sturdy shoes that are comfortable, and comfortable dress for the weather (and expect weather changes).

Please plan for most of a day as hikes combined with the drive usually last into mid-afternoon.   We do car pool from designated locations, so you do not need a parking pass if you do not drive to the trailhead.  If you are driving, passengers compensate drivers for gas.

For more information call Penny, 546-2271 or Pat, 546-0163 or Raelene, 696-4039.
