MaCaw Landing Foundation

August 12th, Tour 4:00-5:30pm

WHEN: Wednesday, August 12 – Tour is 4:00- 5:30pm. Some of us will eat at the Quay after the tour

WHAT: Macaw Landing Foundation

WHERE: Portland – 3 Miles off I-5 exit 307 (near Marine Drive)

TO CARPOOL: 3:30 p.m. at the far west parking lot behind the Thunderbird Inn at the Quay (―The Quay) at 100 Columbia Blvd.

TO MEET THERE: 8850 NE Levee Road, Portland, OR (I-5 South from Vancouver, Take Marine Drive EAST, go 1 miles to NE 13th, R on NE 13th to end, L on Gertz to end, R on Levee to end)

COST: $5 per visitor – please have correct change

This is a foundation for the preservation of Macaws. They have other animals here also and I’ve heard it is a very fun and educational tour.

Tour is limited to 25 people because of seating. There will be some walking around so tennis shoes are suggested – no heels – not suitable for walkers or wheelchairs. We are doing this later in the day in case it is hot.
